Niagara Falls was featured in today’s Ripley’s Believe it or Not!:

“Hyrdroelectric plants in the Welland River, near Niagara Falls, Ontario, cause the direction of the river to temporarily reverse during electric generation.”
As has been discussed many times, the front desk of the Quality Inn Clifton Hill has been torn down to make room for a Ferris wheel. The Comfort Inn Clifton Hill now has a common front desk for the two hotels. I assume that once all the changes are complete, permanent signs will be placed, but for now, some temporary signs have been erected:
