Brick City on Clifton Hill in Niagara Falls

On Clifton Hill, in the building that was formerly the Adventure Dome, a new attraction is now open:

Brick City
Created with LEGO bricks
Explore a city built entirely with LEGO bricks

We stopped in today and spoke to the cashier. She said that the “city” is built from over half a million LEGO bricks. There are 16 trains and over 1,000 little LEGO people. The Taj Mahal is in the city along with the CN Tower (10 ft tall).
It costs $7.99 for adults to get in. And you are allowed to take pictures. It looks nice. Hopefully we’ll have a chance to go inside.

Chris and I visited Brick City today. It isn’t worth $7.99, but it was still pretty neat. We’ll post more about it later and include some pictures.

Ok, what happened to the Adventure Dome? Explain. It had such a cool sign that lit up with the words Adventure Dome and it sounded neat with a virtual movie ride.

If you’d ever been to the Adventure Dome, you’d know that this is no great loss! It was terrible! The write-ups for it always talked about the huge screen and the digital sound, but it was not what it claimed to be. The projector was louder than the sound of the movie and sounded like a projector that you’d have in your elementary school (it clicked away). The movie was so shakey that you felt sick. This wasn’t because it was so life-like, but because the filming was so terrible.
I don’t think Brick City is going to be permanent. It too is disappointing. But it is better than the Adventure Dome!
