On our daily walk this afternoon, Graham and I walked through Queen Victoria Park. I noticed that the flowers have started to bloom. At first I thought they may be the Tulips the Niagara Parks Commission plants each fall, but a coworker believes they may be the flowers of the Crocus Plant.
If you’ve been to Niagara Falls before, and been up/down Clifton Hill, then you passed and probably went into Movieland Wax Museum of Stars. Well, Movieland was closed all winter as it moved down the hill. It re-opened Friday, March 25, 2005. It is larger, brighter, less boxy, and generally is worth the $9.99 for admission.
There is a bunch of road work being done around the main tourist areas in Niagara Falls. When you first get into the Falls via Stanley Avenue, there are 2 different sections of the road where they are replacing the water mains or something. On the weekends this messes up the traffic.
There is also work underway on the Niagara Parkway, right in front of the falls. This looks like it’s almost done.

Blogging seems to be so huge right now, but when I did a search for Niagara Falls blogs there was nothing. So I’m either blind, or this is the first Niagara Falls blog. I’d rather take the credit for coming up with the first Niagara Falls blog than admit I’m blind, so I’ve appropriately named the blog “Niagara Falls Blog”.
As I mention in the description, I work in Niagara Falls, and each day go for a lengthy walk at lunch. I see construction, new attractions, the weather, etc. I’ll blog about what I see going on along with any other general observations and interesting facts I can come up with.
