Although I’m trying (and succeeding) to post more often, over the next couple of weeks things will be slower. I’m not going to be in Niagara Falls at all as I take some vacation time. I’ll still post some newsletters and links to articles, but I won’t have any update on developments until I get back to the Falls.
I saw this on Facebook, and figured it was worth sharing. This is a web page that shows a bunch of awkward family photos. I was surprised to see that photo 16 is of someone in Niagara Falls visiting Journey Behind the Falls.
Last week I received the latest email newsletter from the Clifton Hill Resort.

Good morning everyone. I hope you are enjoying a fun Easter with your family. Even if you don’t celebrate Easter, go ahead and have some good chocolate 🙂
I’ve been away for more than two weeks in Florida on a much needed vacation. It has been awesome! We went to Disney, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and just generally enjoyed the sun and warmth. We’re still not home yet, but it seems that there is snow at home?! Sigh 🙁
I apologize once again for my lack of posting. It has been a very busy winter for me. I’m starting to see the light at the end of this, so I hope to be back to regular blogging soon. Thanks so much to Dan for posting some in my absence.
I had done fairly well keeping the site updated, but I’ve been on vacation over the last week, so things have dropped a bit. I’ll be back again mid next week…
If you are a follower of this blog, you’ve probably noticed that other than some retweets of various deals, there have been no posting for a while (since Feb 14 to be exact). Don’t worry, I’m still alive and well. The problem was that we had a big vacation in March for almost 3 weeks, and I was getting things ready so I could go away, and then away, and then catching up when I got back. It looks like I’ll finally be able to put some time into the Niagara Falls Blog.
As a side note, we were in Orlando for two full weeks, so at some point in the next couple of weeks I’ll post some thoughts about the parks, and any similarities/differences with Niagara Falls.
I’m on vacation this week. Nothing big is planned, but I won’t be in the Falls until Friday. I have a few things scheduled to go up, but other than that there won’t be any regular updates. I’ll be back to regular blogging by mid-week next week.
I was off on vacation last week and I had intended to post lots, but just never got around to it. I have a bunch of posts scheduled now to go up throughout the week, so I should be back to regular posting soon.
I was on vacation and had meant to post some things, but stayed away from the computer mostly. Therefore, I’m way behind! I hope to be all caught up by the end of the week.
From the RV D@ily Report:
Go RVing Canada kicked off the RV vacation season at an exclusive press conference event hosted at The Niagara Parks Commission (NPC), in Niagara Falls, an all-time favorite RV camping destination for Canadians.
Go RVing Canada highlighted the increase in summer bookings in Ontario campgrounds, indicating that RV owners will be enjoying more vacation time within Canada this year. Go RVing Canada also emphasized the success of the Canadian RV industry, with RV shows & sales seeing impressive increases in attendance and sales figures across the board…
“Ontario Niagara Parks is about preserving a rich heritage, conserving natural wonders and inspiring people worldwide!” stated NPC Chair Fay Booker. “A great way to explore all that Ontario and Niagara Parks has to offer is by travelling in an RV. I want to thank Go RVing Canada for launching the season here in Niagara Parks, with the spectacular natural wonder of the Falls as our backdrop. I also want to thank them for their continued support in promoting tourism throughout Canada,” added Booker. “I invite everyone to come and be inspired by Niagara Parks this summer.”
