I’ve posted about this a couple of times. The former Fallsview Inn on Stanley Avenue is undergoing renovations. They’ve added a few floors to the the hotel, and it is also a bigger building now (wider/more rooms).
They’ve been working on it for several months now, but it looks like the work at TGI Friday’s on Victoria Ave is almost done.

As mentioned before, the former Capri Restaurant on Ferry St has closed. It is now undergoing substantial renovations and will reopen as a Pizza Deli.
