Pizza Pizza inside the Skylon Tower was open today
I fully admit that I don’t go to the Skylon Tower very often, but I think was the first time I have seen Pizza Pizza open in a couple of years!

From the Buffalo News:
WildPlay Whirlpool Adventure Course to Niagara, a new outdoor adventure attraction, opens June 16.
The course will provide visitors with new ways to interpret and experience the Niagara Gorge, Niagara Glen and Whirlpool Rapids, said Janice Thomson, chairwoman of the Niagara Parks Commission. It includes aerial obstacles and ziplines securely suspended above the Gorge and Whirlpool.
UPDATE: I wrote this post yesterday (Thursday) and scheduled it to go up this morning. It turns out that the SkyWheel actually opened yesterday at dinner time.
The Niagara SkyWheel took a couple of weeks to come down, and was down for about 6 weeks. I was wondering if it would get open for this coming Victoria Day weekend. It appears the answer is Yes!
It has gone up rather quickly, and seems like it is almost ready.
These pictures were taken over the last week, but it now appears to be entirely ready.
As a side note, I’m not really afraid of heights, but I’m not sure I’d want that job standing in the middle of the wheel working on it!
I meant to post about this last week, but forgot to.
I’m not sure the exact date that they opened, but Chuck’s Roadhouse Bar and Grill is now open in Niagara Falls. I’ve only been by at around lunch time, and there have been people inside each day.
From Travelers Today:

The $30 million hotel is one of Hilton’s 13 market-leading brands. The hotel, which had been under construction for more than a year and a half, has already began taking reservations for January 1.
The nine-story property is just a short walk from the breathtaking Niagara Falls. The property offers 192 modern and luxurious rooms, many overlooking the Upper Niagara River.
