    Comic Con expanding again

    From Niagara This Week:

Success has come as quick as 1-2-3 for the Niagara Falls Comic Con.

From humble beginnings at Dave & Busters on Clifton Hill on 2011, the event first moved to the Scotiabank Convention Centre where some 5,000 comic book, sci-fi and fantasy fans took in the one-day event in 2012.

Comic Con co-owner Chris Dabrowski speculated that the event, which expanded to two days in 2013, will grow again for 2014 once the 2013 event wrapped up last month.

    Dave & Buster’s Attractions Card

The other day I found this Dave & Buster’s Attractions Card. It is for the D&B on Clifton Hill. I know it isn’t terribly interesting, but I had never seen one before. It is just flimsy card stock, and someone wrote on the back in marker. I have no idea what the quality of the attractions is, but the card isn’t terribly impressive.

New attractions at Dave & Busters on Clifton Hill

When Dave & Busters opened on Clifton Hill, they didn’t have any of the attractions ready inside, just the arcade games. They added some new attractions and themeing (Captain Jack), and just recently added a couple of other things. I’m not sure what they are (their web site hasn’t been updated yet), but there is a sign out front now that says Time Freak and Cannon Blasters.
