Today at lunch Chris and I went through the Fun House on Clifton Hill. I can’t believe there are companies that charge people for such garbage. It took us about 5-10 minutes to walk through the place. Everything looked kind of grungy and many moving parts squeaked. I was severely underimpressed.
Admission is $7.99 for adults or $6.99 for children.
You can see pictures at the AccessNiagara.com Gallery.
Google maps now allows you to view satellite images of an area. The link takes you to a satellite image of Niagara Falls. You can click and drag the map to view other areas in an around Niagara Falls.
There are several new restaurants opening in the Clifton Hill and Fallsview tourist areas of Niagara Falls. Here are some photos and links to some of them:
Montanas Cookhouse on Victoria Avenue
I’ve posted about this one before. Visit the City of Niagara Falls web site for more information and photos.
Star Dragon Restaurant on Victoria Avenue
This used to be Brandino’s Italian Ristorante & Cafe. It will reopen as the Star Dragon Restaurant (presumably serving Chinese food).
Cafe Tu Tu Tango and Wolfgang Puck Restaurants on Murray Street
Beside the Holiday Inn and across from the Fallsview Casino & Resort is a new two-storey building. Wolfgang Puck Restaurant will be on the 1st floor Cafe Tu Tu Tango on the 2nd Floor.
Spicy Olive Bar & Grille on Centre Street
What used to be Horror Manor is being changed to the Spicy Olive Bar & Grille. It is just at the top of Clifton Hill, through the traffic lights, on the left.
Niagara Fallsview Casino & Resort
Niagara Parks Police building
Note the flag is at half staff for the Pope’s funeral
Spring is here in Niagara Falls!”
During our walk today at lunch, I took some pictures of some of the places that are new or under construction. I’ve also updated previous blog postings with some of the new pictures.

On Clifton Hill, in the building that was formerly the Adventure Dome, a new attraction is now open:
Created with LEGO bricks
Explore a city built entirely with LEGO bricks
We stopped in today and spoke to the cashier. She said that the “city” is built from over half a million LEGO bricks. There are 16 trains and over 1,000 little LEGO people. The Taj Mahal is in the city along with the CN Tower (10 ft tall).
It costs $7.99 for adults to get in. And you are allowed to take pictures. It looks nice. Hopefully we’ll have a chance to go inside.
Check out pictures from inside Brick City at the AccessNiagara.com Gallery.
There is a new museum opening up soon. It is the http://classiciron.ca/“>Classic Iron Motorcycle Museum:

On our daily walk this afternoon, Graham and I walked through Queen Victoria Park. I noticed that the flowers have started to bloom. At first I thought they may be the Tulips the Niagara Parks Commission plants each fall, but a coworker believes they may be the flowers of the Crocus Plant.
