The Happy Blogger: Misty water coloured memories…

Someone with a Blogger blog about happiness posted something where he reminisces a bit about Niagara Falls: Have you ever noticed how difficult it is to see when you’ve got Niagara Falls in your eyes? I remember as a kid being on Maid of the Mist. Ok, all I really remember is getting sloppy wet…

      Butterfly Conservatory video

On Tuesday I posted about a trip to the Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory. I linked to an image gallery, but neglected to post the video I took. You can see the video at YouTube or see it below.

        Another picture of electric chair…

Here is another view… As you can see, it certainly doesn’t stand out, but it does seem out of place between Dairy Queen and the other restaurant.

The world as seen by Dan – Accomplishments in Canada

Someone with a LiveJournal blog posted about a recent trip to Niagara Falls (along with other places in Canada): So, since I leave Canada tomorrow, I thought I would list those things that I have seen and done since arriving here last November… Niagara Falls: visited 4 times! – including Canadian and US sides of…

More riders are feeling the Fury

From the Niagara Falls Review: Ken Wald has experienced virtual reality rides before, but he says few compare with Niagara’s Fury. “I’ve been to Disneyland and Disney World, but (Niagara’s Fury) had everything you would want in a ride,” said Wald, who was visiting Niagara Falls from Fairview, Alta., Tuesday with his mother and two…

Blackpool is tacky in a slightly depressing but generally charming way; Niagara Falls is so tacky you have to laugh or cry. If you go, visit…

                Butterfly Conservatory in Winter 2007

No, this is still not a typo… I’m just getting caught up with some pictures. Last December I used some passes I had to the Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory and took my family. It was the first time I had ever been and I was very impressed. Since it was winter, it was particularly nice…

                  Electric Chair on Clifton Hill?!

I generally don’t like reading blogs or articles that talk about how tacky Niagara Falls is. It may have been like that before, but companies are spending a lot of money to build beautiful attractions and hotels and to clean the place up. Sure, there are still places that aren’t great, but it has improved…

                    Golden Griddle patio

The Golden Griddle next to the Imperial Hotel & Suites used to have a covered entrance way. I think it was a patio, but it wasn’t very nice. Recently they have taken down the cover and made it into a much nicer patio.
