From the Niagara Falls Review:
It was a case of sibling rivalry at Queen Victoria Park.
Eight-year-old Joshua Schreiber wore his prized Connor McDavid Edmonton Oilers jersey as he checked out the activities at the Rogers Hometown Hockey event while his little sister Aimee, 4, opted for a Montreal Canadiens jersey.
“McDavid is my favourite player because he scores lots of goals and he’s really fast … fast like me,” the St. Catharines youngster said. “The Oilers are the better team.”
The Schreiber family was among thousands of people who attended the two-day festival at the park, which kicked off the 2017-18 Rogers Hometown Hockey Tour. About 5,000 people were at the park Saturday and between 8,000 and 10,000 were expected Sunday.
