From the Welland Tribune:
Karl-Heinz Holzwarth was wrapping up his inaugural trip to Canada, and mining for future destination possibilities.
On Wednesday, he found gold at Niagara’s Ontario Travel Information Centre.
“My wife Rosa and I were in our car heading to Niagara Falls, took the wrong road, and I saw this visitor centre on York Rd.,” said Holzwarth who was inside the raucous facility as it celebrated “tourism week” in Ontario.
“We came in, we suddenly saw all these people,” said the visitor from Munich, Germany.
The Holzwarth couple was greeted by a sea of area tourism stakeholders — from hoteliers to adventure tours and wineries. All were providing one-stop shopping for visitors, in displays set up in and around the Niagara-on-the-Lake centre.
