Institute on tourism has plans for Falls

From the Buffalo News:

A new home for technology development and job training in the tourism industry has taken root in the downtown tourism district.

The Niagara Global Tourism Institute, once fully up and running, also will serve as a research hub and business incubator aimed at boosting tourism in Niagara Falls.

“Niagara Falls today is not the Niagara Falls it was 10 years ago and is not the Niagara Falls it’s going to be 10 years from now,” said Eddie Friel, director of the institute, which opened its doors last month.
