Over the last couple of days the workers have been out in Queen Victoria Park setting up some of the displays for the Niagara Falls CAA Winter Festival of Lights. On the one hand, it seems a bit early. On the other hand, it is much better for the workers to be out in this weather, then cold/bitter weather in November/December. The festival opens on November 7th, so they have just over a month to setup.
All things Niagara Falls tourism…
Don’t forget, Graham, that it starts on Nov.7 this year, so not really that far off. 🙂
Thanks Drafty. I didn’t realize it started so early
that IS early!!! Plus – they have to get those stakes in before the ground freezes. this is something i learned yesterday at work… if you order an in-ground Basketball hoop – you might not be able to get it installed before Christmas if it hits 40 degrees. how’s that for trivial information on this lovely Thursday?
I for one is really looking forward to seeing the festival of lights this year. Hopefully we can make it for opening weekend
