Dream finally coming true for convention centre

From the Niagara Falls Review:

“I am so sick of wearing hard hats,” Kerry Painter gripes with a weary smile.

She has a point. She looks like a construction worker in virtually every picture taken of her these past three years. It was fun at first — the groundbreaking, the first cement truck, the first stained glass window. Now, barely a week until the $105-million Scotiabank Convention Centre Niagara opens, she’s full of mixed emotions.

She’s anxious for it to be finished. But she wants to prolong this moment.
