There used to be a Jehovah’s Witness building on Stanley Avenue between Ferry St and Robinson St. They sold it a few months ago, and now it is being turned into a restaurant. Apparently Gooee’s Oriental Grill House will be opening soon.
Can not wait to try this restaurant I love oriental food and mix in a grillhouse and it sounds delicious! I walk by this everyday I go to work and it’s looking very nice inside!
I drove by this restaurant today, it looked like it will be opened soon. I can’t wait to try them either and personally I like to ask them what Gooee’s means. It sounds very intriguing I think. 🙂
My wife and I actually went there last friday to have a dinner. I had their sliced beef dish, (i think it was called Bugogi?), and my wife had korean short ribs named Galbi (this one i remember haha). It was very delicious! They were served on the sizzling pan with their special onion things which was absolutely incredible too. I was served by the owner and she was a really nice lady. We will definitely go there again.
It is amazing, I go at least once every other week 🙂
The food, the service, the portion sizes 🙂 Always bring some home for lunch the next day …
Not your everyday Asian eatery … it is one I highly recommend to all my friends.
I think the comment was entered in Korean, but somewhere in the process WordPress or the web browser didn’t display it properly, so all we got was question marks.
