From the Niagara Falls Review:

It was hardly another day at “The Office.”

The beloved NBC sitcom made a misty appearance in Niagara Falls, New York on Thursday, filming scenes for the upcoming wedding between characters Pam (Jenna Fischer) and Jim (John Krasinski).

Cast and crew rode the Maid of the Mist twice in the morning and once in the afternoon, surprising tourists who boarded the boat from the U.S. dock.

A Niagara Falls visit by the show had been rumoured for weeks, though no one knew where – or when – they’d arrive. But online rumblings told fans to keep an eye out Thursday, as production boarded a plane from Chicago to Buffalo that morning.

Maid of the Mist spokesman Tim Ruddy said it was a juggling act accommodating the show and the crowds, but it went “very smooth.”

“Of all the film crews and production crews we’ve had over the years, this was by far the most professional and easy to work with,” he said. “They were so appreciative of what Niagara Falls is doing for them.”
