Residents flock to the Hill

    From Niagara This Week:

Clifton Hill was bulging with people Sunday afternoon.

While it’s not unusual for the Niagara Falls tourist area to be crawling with people, its not too often the majority of those in attendance live in the Falls.

On Sunday, Clifton Hill attractions opened their doors to residents of Niagara Falls for $1. The event was also a fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis.

“This is a great idea,” said Jeff Manuel who was standing in line outside the Ripley’s Believe it or Not Museum with his wife, Deborah, and three children. “This is the first time we’ve come out for it.”

“Otherwise we wouldn’t be able to afford this with three kids,” added Deborah. “It’s a great chance to experience all of this.”
