Tourism center will feature ‘all glass’

    From the Buffalo News:

A new Niagara Tourism & Convention Corp. visitors center on Rainbow Boulevard will feature a curved glass facade to welcome tourists to the city.

The building will replace a temporary information center the agency has operated for three years.

“We wanted it to be all glass so that it is open and visible to the public,” said John Percy, the agency’s president.

A site plan for the $2.2 million complex to be built at 10 Rainbow Blvd., the former Artisan’s Alley, received approval from the city’s Planning Board on Wednesday.
