Niagara: Miracles, Myths and Magic - The Explorers

The second part of the Niagara: Miracles, Myths and Magic movie is about the first explorers who “discovered” Niagara Falls. The scene is about 4 minutes long and tesll the story of Father Joseph Hennepin when he and a group of explorers came across the falls in the Winter of 1678. Father Hennepin was definitely awestruck by the Falls, and the movie quotes him as follows:

In all our journey nothing I’ve seen or imagined can be referenced to compare with the wonder of this place the Indians call “Thundering Water” - Niagara.

The movie is fantastic, whether in the IMAX theatre or at home. Pictures and reviews don’t do it justice. If you are fascinated by Niagara Falls and its history, then you should definitely see the movie.
