NIAGARA FALLS – While city residents may be divided on what form they’d like to see the proposed new People Mover take, there is one thing they can agree on: it needs to be accessible for everybody.

The city’s People Mover Office held two public open houses at Acres House recently, where residents were invited to take a look at the status of the project and ask any questions or direct any comments or concerns to the partners involved. The city, the Niagara Parks Commission, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation and Falls Management Company (FMC) — which operates the city’s two casinos — are working together on the proposed at-grade, or ground level, public transportation system.

The People Mover is expected to link attractions from the Rainbow Bridge to Marineland.
