“Niagara Window” video

    Niagara Window movie

One of the Niagara Falls feature videos you can buy in many of the retail outlets is called Niagara Window by AlphaFlyer.com
The box describes it in this way:

    Relax with… Niagara Window
Magnificent views of a natural wonder.

Experience the power and majesty of the falls as Niagara Window takes you to the brink of one of the world’s most breathtaking sites.

See the falls at their most magical, from sunrise to sundown, as the camera lingers on spectacular scenes.

Enjoy the natural beauty of Niagara Falls up close without the crowds.

Listen to the mighty roar of the falls or play your favourite music as you relaxs with Niagara Window.

An exclusive tour of Niagara Falls.

The video starts with what looks like a view from a fallsview window. You can hear the roar of the falls, and the scene shown is very nice. But then you wait for something to happen, and nothing does. The scenes change every 20 to 30 seconds, but the sound never changes. There isn’t a change in volume, or pitch or anything as the scenes change. The problem is that after listening to it for just a minute or two it starts to sound like static on a TV channel you don’t get. As the box suggests, it is probably best to mute the TV and put on some relaxing music while the video plays.

The scenes really are beautiful. They have shots of the 3 waterfalls from different angles and at different times of the day. You see mist, rainbows, and rocks. You can certainly see why Niagara Falls is considered one of the Wonders of the World. While I typed this up we watched the video with Pachelbel’s Canon in D playing the background (one of my wife’s favourite relaxing CDs).
