Police prevent suicide

    From the June 1, 2005 St. Catharines Niagara News (page 2):

    Police Prevent Suicide

    Niagara Regional Polce Service officers traced a call made by a man threatening to jump at the brink of the falls and got there in time to stop him on Sunday, May 22.

    Police said a third party called shortly after 9 a.m. and said a man was on a pay phone threatening to jump at the falls. Police traced the call and went to the Table Rock area where they found the man still on the line. Officers talked to him and then transported him to the hospital.
