On Monday I linked to a Toronto Sun blurb about the Great Wolf Lodge and some Halloween activites. It turns out that is from a press release, and I received it too. Here is the whole thing.
By day, the Great Wolf Lodge Niagara Falls is the ultimate family fun zone with kids taking part in a variety of wet and wild activities in Canada’s largest indoor water park.
But when the sun goes down during Halloween season, the Great Wolf Lodge undergoes an amazing transformation and becomes a surreal, slightly spooky setting for a one-of-a-kind Halloween experience.
It’s all part of a “Howl-O-Ween at the Wolf” from Oct. 14-31.
This all-out family extravaganza begins at the door with intricate haunted Lodge décor, and includes daily activities for families that are fun, safe and just a boo-bit scary.
Families will enjoy:
- A trick-or-treating trail that coils through a haunted forest
- A monster mash family dance
- Pumpkin carving
- Witchy crafts
- Costume parade and contest (with prizes, of course)
- Spooky story time with lodge characters
- Wolf science – where you can concoct science experiments that are sure to impress
The Lodge houses a massive all-indoor and weatherproof water park. It includes 13 waterslides, three pools, two whirlpools, a large outdoor heated spa experience, a giant wavepool, and a 500,000 litre lazy river. That’s not to mention the looming Fort Mackenzie, a four-story interactive treehouse water fort that offers 12 levels of super-soaking fun, and of course, the Niagara Rapid Run, a water roller coaster that will definitely get the kids (and parents) howling.
Guests will find numerous styles of upscale, nature-inspired accommodations, multiple family-themed restaurants, Elements spa, an arcade with more than 100 games and an interactive miniature golf course.
