    Tourists on Clifton Hill in Niagara Falls watched in amazement, but for two members of Canada’s military, it was just another day on the job as they rappelled more than 100 meters down an outside wall of the Sheraton-on-the-Falls hotel.

    It was all part of a demonstration that took place over the noon hour on Monday for those attending a three-day conference put on by the Association of Canadian Community Colleges.

    If you’ve always wanted to step off the roof of a 26-story building and live to tell about it, here’s your chance.

    Seneca Niagara Hotel will host a fundraising rappelling event for Special Olympics of New York on July 29. As many as 150 people will be allowed to use ropes to make their way down the side of the building behind the Seneca Niagara Casino.
