The FX Ride Theatre inside the Great Canadian Midway appears to be gone (although it still shows up on the Clifton Hill web site). The booth that was in the midway is gone, and the facade is gone.

The FX theatre probably wasn’t drawing the crowds anymore…. especially with another one across the street. They will probably look into getting another attraction. I will hold out for a small indoor coaster 🙂
I had been on both, but I enjoyed the FX one better than the Ripley’s one. The Ripley’s one made me feel sick. The FX one was smoother, and seemed more modern.
I spoke with someone back in October who works there, and he told me something was going on but I forget exactly. If I remember correctly it was simply an update… like a 4D theatre or something.
I always laugh when I see “4D”. I thought the fourth dimension was time 🙂
HAHA Graham I think you’re right!! Most developers who have 4D use environmental as the “4th dimension” aka falling snow, wind blowing, etc.

It all makes sense then as I’m sure most people regret the ‘time’ they spent in most of these rides.
