Someone with a Blogger blog posted about a recent trip to Niagara Falls: Dibs and I somehow were the first ones there despite our efforts to delay our departure. So we ended up napping in the parking lot of a Thriftlodge on Clifton Hill. What seemed like hours later the rest of the crew showed…

Artist carves a niche at Niagara Falls

From the Buffalo News: A dozen British Royal Guards stood silently, at perfect attention, on either side of the walkway as my daughter, Jennifer, and I entered the Niagara Totem Pole and Woodcarving Park. However, these soldiers weren’t real; they were carved entirely out of wood. When we stopped by the park, which is located…

Table Rock Place construction almost complete

I haven’t heard anything else about Niagara’s Fury and whether or not it will be open today. However, the other day I took a couple of pictures of the contruction going on at Table Rock Place, and it looks almost done.

                  Al Macs open for business

After some pretty extensive renovations, Al Macs (at the corner of Ferry St and Stanley Ave) is open for business again. The restaurant certainly looks better on the outside, and there is a nice large patio as well.
