From the Niagara Falls Review:
There is a lot of groundwork being done to bring top quality entertainment to Niagara Falls – the latest is a spectacular $2-million production of “Beauty and the Beast.”
It’s a professional production that has been enjoyed by the vast majority of those who have seen it.
Unfortunately, the venue is a refurbished high school auditorium at Kingston College, the former Niagara Falls Collegiate.
That is not to slight the auditorium. Kingston College has put money into the aging 1,000-seat theatre.
But that doesn’t change the fact that it is in an old building and in an area where parking is at a premium.
And while it’s a great place for the Kiwanis Music Festival and other events, it’s clear that what’s lacking is a quality theatre that could be a permanent home to productions like “Beauty and the Beast.”
