The Canada Trading Company store that was in developement on Clifton Hill over the past few months is now open. It looks like they are still working on getting the store 100%, but they are open for business.
It looks like the Niagara Skywheel opened sometime last night and is now taking passengers!
Back in March I posted about Teddy Town coming to the space underneath Burger King on Clifton Hill. Well, the store has finally opened. You can make your own teddy bears. They are all around $20, and you can choose different animals. For more money you can customize them even more.
Wow! There are a lot of busloads of kids around here these days! I don’t ever remember it being like this before. You can tell that school is almost out and the kids are going on their end-of-year trips. They often will have the same t-shirts on, and they certainly love Clifton Hill.

The Golden Griddle that is being built as part of the Imperial Hotel & Suites has new signs out. I didn’t get a good look at the interior, but from what I could see it is coming along well.
I don’t remember the Travelodge Hotel (formerly the Quality Hotel) having a Smitty’s Restaurant, but maybe I just missed it:
