A search was launched in April to find his replacement.<\/p>\n<p>Janice Thomson, former vice-chairwoman of the Niagara Parks board, has assumed the role of interim chairwoman.<\/p>\n<p>Booker said she is honoured and proud to be the new GM of a &#8220;fabulous&#8221; and &#8220;tremendous&#8221; organization.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I want to have a positive impact.
