Typically, it’s the moms you hear warning their children “don’t touch.”<\/p>\n

At Ripley’s Believe it or Not, however, the dads are voicing that sentiment to their significant others.<\/p>\n

For some women, however, the temptation is just too strong.<\/p>\n

“The reason I want to touch it is because I know I shouldn’t,” said New Jersey resident Barb Conners after she and her family left the popular Clifton Hill museum.<\/p>\n

The object of Conners’ interest, and her husband’s fear, are two one-and-a-half metre tall wooden statues now on display inside Ripley’s.<\/p>\n

According to legend, anyone who touches the statues has a good chance of becoming pregnant.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
