According to a press release, the man, who appeared to be between 30 and 40 years old, had been spotted in the fast-flowing waters of the upper Niagara River around 3:45 p.m. then was seen heading over the brink. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.maidofthemist.com\/\">Maid of the Mist<\/a> boats were enlisted to search for the man at the foot of the falls. Police believe the man entered the water of his own accord.
