Saturday, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/July_1\">July 1<\/a> is <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Canada_Day\">Canada Day<\/a>, and so Canadians will have either Friday or Monday off work. Tuesday, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/July_4\">July 4<\/a> is <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Independence_Day_%28United_States%29\">Independence Day<\/a> so I assume that many people will be taking Tuesday off in addition to Tuesday and have a nice long weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Here are a few more observations\/thoughts heading into the weekend.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The other night when I was on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.accessniagara.com\/c\/?4\">Clifton Hill<\/a>, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.accessniagara.com\/c\/?302\">WWE PileDriver<\/a> ride was moving, but the ticket booth was closed. I assume that you can get tickets inside. Then yesterday they finally had the ticket booth open.<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;ve seen a couple of restaurants with patios that have live music on the weekends<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.accessniagara.com\/c\/?176\">Queen Victoria Park<\/a> is all ready for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.accessniagara.com\/c\/?327\">2 Nation Celebration<\/a>. There are trailers, tents, and a big stage setup.<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.accessniagara.com\/c\/?326\">Capish Hip Hop<\/a> store always has loud music playing, and I&#8217;ve noticed some &#8220;bad&#8221; words occasionally. I&#8217;m sure there are some families that don&#8217;t appreciate hearing that sort of thing on a public street<\/li>\n<li>I hadn&#8217;t been by the back of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.accessniagara.com\/c\/?61\">Marineland<\/a> for several weeks, so the other day I went by there to see if they had continued working on Dragon Mountain . They haven&#8217;t. It looks <a href=\"http:\/\/www.accessniagara.com\/blog\/index.php\/2006\/04\/19\/marineland_dragon_mountain_progress\/\">exactly the same<\/a> as the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.accessniagara.com\/blog\/index.php\/2006\/05\/01\/dragon_mountain_update\/\">last time I saw it<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;ve never heard of them, but apparently American&#8217;s are familiar with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.accessniagara.com\/c\/?325\">Nathan&#8217;s Famous Hot Dogs<\/a>. Now the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.accessniagara.com\/c\/?8\">Skylon Tower<\/a> has one at their Murray Street entrance<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.accessniagara.com\/blog\/index.php\/2006\/05\/02\/high_times_at_the_travelodge_by_the_fall\/\">High Times<\/a> always seems busy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This weekend will be busy in Niagara Falls.
