Visitor Smoke called the hotel and found out that it was going to change it&#8217;s name to Lodge Near the Falls. The sign is now up:<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.accessniagara.com\/blog\/media\/20060515_lodge_near_falls_sign.jpg?w=640\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.accessniagara.com\/blog\/media\/20060512_lodge_near_falls_sign.jpg?w=640\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" \/><\/div>\n<p>I also noticed that there is a very large billboard on top of their restaurant:<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.accessniagara.com\/blog\/media\/20060515_lodge_near_falls_billboard.jpg?w=640\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" \/><\/div>\n<p>And I also took a picture of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.accessniagara.com\/blog\/index.php\/2006\/05\/02\/high_times_at_the_travelodge_by_the_fall\">High Times<\/a>.
