A former Hamilton lodging home manager is suing two Niagara casinos, claiming their operators wined and dined him and fed his addiction until he gambled away $1.3 million of his and his mother’s money.<\/p>\n

Paul Isaacs and his mother, Olive Isaacs, who formerly owned St. Paul’s Lodging Home, have filed a $3-million negligence suit against Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation and Falls Management Company, which operates Casino Niagara and Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort.<\/p>\n

“This lawsuit is about a breach of duty of care by the casinos toward a person who suffers from a pathological gambling illness,” said their lawyer Roger Yachetti.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
