This is one of the newer attractions on Clifton Hill. It used to be the Adventure Dome, and then a few years ago it became this LEGO city. A local Niagara Falls man has created buildings, landmarks, trains, and more. If you aren’t really interested in LEGO, then you probably wouldn’t be interested in the attraction. It is just one big room with a huge LEGO display in the center. On the other hand, if you are the least bit interested in LEGO, then you’d love it. I used to play with LEGO as a kid, and so I appreciate the work it took to get all of that done.

I guess I do need to mention one thing. The logo above is an old one. I just noticed that the Brick City web site doesn’t emphasize the LEGO aspect. They are just bricks. I wonder if they aren’t licensed to use the term anymore or what caused the change… I’ll have to find an updated logo for my next posting.

Every time I go there is something new. When it first opened, he hadn’t finished Niagara Falls yet. This most recent time I was there, he had build a replica of the Niagara SkyWheel. Brick City is one of the few attractions that can actually keep adding/changing things.

I guess one of the best way to judge the attraction is from the guest book they have as you leave. People from all over had left comments that were complimentary of the attraction. One of the nicest ones was from a kid in Ohio. He said “The best thing ever. 10x better than video games”. Now that’s an endorsement!

I took a video that is about a minute and a half:

I didn’t take a full gallery of pictures (you can view my 2005 pictures or my 2007 pictures if you want), but here are a few new things:

Niagara Falls, with the Maid of the Mist and a daredevil walking a tightrope

The Niagara SkyWheel

The creator also becomes an “artist” by using small pieces of lego as his palette.
