He was looking for a project which would present a fresh and interesting light on the world-famous cataract that often slips to the back of minds of locals. He was shooting in Niagara Falls when he heard about Cochrane and his pitch to cross the falls.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>For those who have been following the blog, you&#8217;ll know that I was interviewed by Jay Cheel <a href=\"http:\/\/accessniagara.com\/blog\/2007\/09\/27\/niagara-falls-documentary\/\">last September<\/a>. I&#8217;ve also updated you several times about the progress.
