One in 1.6 billion, actually. The &#8220;mayor for all the people&#8221; spent four days in China, the world&#8217;s most populous country, attending a conference of more than 200 mayors from around the world&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>As a guest of the Chinese tourism administration, Salci said he wouldn&#8217;t get on a soapbox and tell Chinese officials how they should run their country.<\/p>\n<p>Talking tourism was the only item on his agenda.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Niagara Falls was highly identified and recognized by the Chinese &#8230; The Chinese are anxious to do business with us,&#8221; Salci reported back to city council Monday.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From the Niagara Falls Review: Mayor Ted Salci was one in a billion last week.
