This is a continuation of my “Best of Access Niagara<\/a>” series. This series looks back on popular posts, highly commented posts, my favourite places, etc.<\/p>\n

Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Museum (now call an Odditorium) <\/a>has been in Niagara Falls for many, many years. When I first went, I really enjoyed it, but then it seemed to go a decade or more without almost any improvement. However, about a year and a half ago it closed for a full renovation, and reopened last May. What a difference! It is a tremendous attraction now. We visited last June after it had been open for a month or so, and were very impressed. Previously it had been much more like a museum, where you just stand and look\/read. Now it is almost entirely interactive. There are things to stand beside, boxes to fit into, valves to turn, buttons to press, things to look through, and more.<\/p>\n

Probably the most important thing is that my kids loved it. Every so often when they go past the attraction they ask when we should go again. If you’ve been before but haven’t been for a while, or if you’ve never been at all, I highly recommend it.<\/p>\n
