But this year, the usual hope and optimism is mixed with caution and concern: Will this be the year tourism numbers rebound, or will American travellers continue to stay at home?<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We had a decrease in 2006, and are concerned about this becoming a trend in 2007,&#8221; said Maid of the Mist president Christopher Glynn.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Niagara Falls tourism had experienced a slight recovery prior to the 2006 season.
