Finance<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The $20 million conversion of the former Holiday Inn Select into a Crowne Plaza Hotel is complete for the downtown Niagara Falls property.<\/p>\n<p>The Crowne Plaza nameplate officially goes on the 397-room, Third Street hotel Tuesday morning. The conversion began last year shortly after Phoenix-based Namwest LLC acquired the hotel. The hotel is third largest in the immediate Buffalo Niagara area.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I <a href=\"http:\/\/www.accessniagara.com\/blog\/index.php\/2006\/01\/19\/crowne_plaza_hotel_niagara_falls_abandon\/\">posted about this when I first heard<\/a> that it was going to be renovated. That led to discussions about the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.accessniagara.com\/blog\/index.php\/2006\/11\/07\/mystery-of-the-half-built-hotel\/\">Crowne Plaza in Niagara Falls, ON<\/a>.\u00c3\u201a\u00c2  The conversion is complete in Niagara Falls, NY, and the one in Ontario still sits as it was a couple of years ago.
