My video of the week is usually done on Wednesday, but as I mentioned, this week is a little different.
There are actually 2 videos this week. Both of them are of the Butterfly Conservatory. This is one of the few attractions that I’ve never been to, but I hope to correct that this year. Since I’ve never been, these were obviously not taken by me.
The first video is only 21 seconds long, but it shows a plant with several clear shots of various butterflies around it.
The second video is much longer (almost 5 minutes). A woman acts as an unofficial tour guide as they walk.
The video next week will be from the waterpark inside the Great Wolf Lodge.

This week is the March Break (Spring Break) in most places in Ontario, so things have been pretty busy in Niagara falls. I took this video yesterday as I walked down Clifton Hill (since I was walking, the video is a little bumpy). You can see all the main attractions (Niagara SkyWheel, House of Frankenstein, Marvel Super Heroes Adventure City, etc). You can also see men working on the windows of the new fudge store. The video is 1:38 long.
The weather was gorgeous yesterday, reaching about 14° C (57° F) so there were lots of people out. Today isn’t that great (neither was Monday), but it is supposed to be nice, but cooler on the weekend.

The weather has been consistently cold, and I don’t know how many snowy videos you want to see. For the video of the week today I’ve found a nice video on YouTube that shows Clifton Hill, the Falls, fireworks, and more. The video is 7 minutes long but is worth the view.
I look forward to nicer weather so I can get videos like this

The video of the week today is a video I filmed yesterday. It is actually 3 small videos that I merged together in one. I was walking along the parkway and took a video near the bottom of Murray Hill, then moved closer to the Horseshoe Falls and took another video. I then went right up to Table Rock and started to take another video. Unfortunately the memory card ran out of room, so the last clip is the shortest. Maybe next week I’ll do the entire video from up close.

In keeping with the new daily features, Wednesday is video day. Last week I took a video in front of the Fallsview Casino. You can see the snow and ice around the fountains, and a couple of the hotels around the area (including the construction going on at the Hilton where the Denny’s used to be). It was very bright and windy that day so it was hard to get a clear, steady video.
