Niagara Falls’ OLG funding surpasses $100-million mark

The City of Niagara Falls received close to $7 million in the second quarter from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation.

In total, $6.81 million was paid out to the City by the provincial gaming agency. The payments are part of a hosting agreement the City of Niagara Falls has with the OLG that compensates the municipality for hosting Casino Niagara and Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort. The latest payment covers the period of July through September. The latest payment brings the total funds received by the City to $14.6 million so far this fiscal year, which began in April.
