Canada 150 festival sees community ‘come together’

From the Niagara Falls Review:

More than 4,000 people turned out to the Canada 150 Fun Fest inside and outside Scotiabank Convention Centre in Niagara Falls Saturday.

“We’re very happy with the turnout,” said organizer Chris Dabrowski.

The Stanley Avenue venue hosted a full day of free indoor and outdoor events, which started at noon.

The family portion of the event featured food trucks, a kids zone, large inflatables and an art showcase.

The mini Canadiana Comic Con featured the Back to the Future DeLorean, the Batmobile, and The Munsters coach.

Richard Comely, the creator of Captain Canuck, also attended, handing out free comics and signing autographs.
