Photography business rising from the ashes

From the Niagara Falls Review:

It was a nightmare.

K.J. Dong Jia was at home on January 15, 2016 when he received a call from his alarm company.

A fire, deliberately set, had swept through his themed photography business on Victoria Avenue near Clifton Hill.

“I came right away,” the 35-year-old father of three recalled. “It was such a nightmare.”

Damage was pegged at $300,000.

“I had to rebuild everything,” he said.

Jia had opened Allways Antique Photo in the heart of the city’s tourism sector in 2012 after operating similar operations in Toronto and Alberta.

The business is a combination of what Jia knows best – business and photography.
