Concerns over Niagara Falls casino jobs not being taken seriously: Diodati

From Niagara This Week:

The province is moving ahead with the modernization process for gaming in the city after the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) issued request for proposal (RFP) documents to pre-qualified proponents selected to bid on the Niagara Gaming Bundle.

The move comes despite both the City of Niagara Falls and Niagara Region expressing concern over the process.

Both Niagara Falls Mayor Jim Diodati and regional chair Alan Caslin have been critical of the OLG modernization process, saying that as it stands, it’s more about making money for the province rather than economic development opportunities and jobs for Niagara.
