From Niagara This Week:
Visitors will now have to pay for parking at two Niagara Parks lots.
Visitors to Thompson Point will be charged for parking starting this month while the same will come to the lot at the Niagara Glen Nature Centre starting next spring.
In a news release, the Niagara Parks Commission said it is introducing paid parking to “better manage and control the limited number of parking spaces at these locations, as well as to reduce the heavy congestion of vehicles, which occurs at these popular nature sites, during the peak tourism months.”
