Zipping through the air in Niagara Falls

From the Niagara Falls Review:

Friday was the beginning of a new adventure at Niagara Falls.

The new Wildplay MistRider Zipline attraction had a soft opening Friday in advance of their Wednesday grand opening.

I headed down to Clifton Hill to have my own turn on the zipline, located near Hornblower cruises. I electronically paid $56.49 and signed my waiver on my smart phone while I waited in line. The line was long and, according to Lindsay DiCosimo, marketing manager for WildPlay Niagara Falls, they sold out early in the day.

Some people in line were excited at the prospect of being among the first to take flight.

“I thought that made it seem more like I wanted to do it when I found out it was just opening,” said Emily Parker, from Liverpool. She was riding the zipline with her brother, Max, while their mother Paula stayed closer to the ground.

“I wouldn’t go on it,” said Paula, “I’m scared of heights.”
