Niagara Falls man arrested for possessing explosive chemicals

I drive past this hotel every morning and every afternoon as I go to/from work! Some of the hotels on those back streets are kind of “sketchy”.

From Niagara This Week:

Police have arrested a 43-year-old Niagara Falls man after unknown chemicals were discovered in a Niagara Falls motel room Monday evening.

The discovery led to the evacuation of rooms in the motel as well as a nearby house, and the closure of several streets near CJS Inn at 5334 Kitchener Street.

Within a few hours, all but Slater Avenue were open to through traffic, and by Tuesday evening all streets were re-opened.
