Strong turnout to NPC job fair

From the Niagara Falls Review:

About 50 people were waiting outside before the Niagara Parks Commission opened the doors to its second annual job fair on Saturday morning.

About 450 attended last year’s seasonal opportunity, and judging by the early turnout on Saturday, the NPC expects to top that number this year.

General Manager John Lohuis said young people are attracted to the NPC because of the “diversity and the business lines that we have, whether it be retail, culinary, attractions, visitor-service people who actually work with customers and visitors.

“Even on the buses we have people who tell the story of Niagara Parks and become ambassadors to Niagara.”
