Niagara Falls Museums is pleased to offer a great event with Family Day @ the Museum on Monday, February 18, 2013 from 10:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Niagara Falls History Museum, 5810 Ferry Street, Niagara Falls.

Don’t miss out on the FREE Family Fun!

Admission to the museum is free. Inside, families can explore the galleries, enjoy entertainment and demonstrations, and take part in the activities related to the current exhibition in the OPG Temporary Gallery titled “Space”, which features a moon rock and a portable planetarium StarLab.

Starlab shows run every 30 minutes, on the hour and half hour and will be first come first serve. Entertainment will include musicians and a magician.  There will be a constellation craft that younger visitors can create and families can get their portrait taken “on the moon”.

All the Museums galleries will be open during the day and there will be scavenger hunts and quizzes to fill out.  Walk the tightrope, build a bridge or dress up in War of 1812 uniforms.

A detailed agenda including map will be available when you check in at the Museum and there is lots of free parking in the Sylvia Place parking lot.
